Cancellation Of Membership

I have a contract signed with QVC i 2008. My family has grown since signing the contract and just to streamline my expenses I tried cancelling my membership after these useless points was paid off just to be told by them that my contract was signed in perpetuity. Now I am not a lawyer but i know since 2011 the NCPA states that no contract may exist in perpetuity, and all such contracts must be cancelled within 2 years. Yet even after trying to cancel this I get the same bs response from them. Apparently they have 66000 members and I am just wondering how many of them were actually conned into this agreement with no way out. My next step is the NCC and hopefully they will realize that taking my measily R600 per month cost them 10% of their turn over.
