Pure Pleasure electric blankets, bad quality and shocking customer service

I bought a deluxe king size electric blanket from Pure Pleasure on takealot. It was a dual control and two weeks after it arrived it broke on the one side, we simply turned it on and it stopped working, no overheating, nothing done to it. I then contacted Pure Pleasure directly to ask to swap the blanket for a working one as it had expressly stated on the guarantee that if it broke we needed to contact Pure Pleasure direct and not the shop/store it was bought from. To two emails explaining the situation I simply got the response, "go back to takealot", so apology, no consideration for the fact that to have to return to takealot would take a considerable amount of time, compared to just going to Pure Pleasure which is on our way to work to return. Anyway after returning to takealot (who were very efficient), it turns out there is now no stock to replace the electric blanket at takealot. So we now have to find a new one, having now spent three weeks in the peak of winter without an electric blanket. I will never buy another product from Pure Pleasure, absolutely shocking customer service.
