Pure Pleasure electric blanket poor quality

I bought a pure pleasure electric blanket middle last year and was using it, when I took it out again to use this year it was working fine and then just stopped working. replaced it with the same electric blanket, and this one lasted 2 months, just stopped working. When I went back to Pick n Pay to return it, I didn` have my slip so they couldn`t help me. Really poor quality and now I sit with 2 items that I paid for and could hardly use.
