Unacceptable service
We cancelled our medical aid on the 19th of July 2018. Our medical aid premium was deducted at the end of August for September after we have cancelled it. We requested a refund and we were informed that it will be processed only after the 10th of September. To date we have not received the refund and we are forced to make certain decisions regarding our budget because someone did not do their job. This is unacceptable as we have done our part. They can take the payment very quick but the refund takes more than 3 weeks.

Dear Eben
We contacted the adviser who assisted you. They confirmed that the change to effect the cancellation was not made by your wife’s employer. The premium was therefore deducted by her employer during the payroll run and paid over to the medical aid at the end of August. The medical aid therefore needs to repay the money to your wife. They advised that they do not have her banking details on record, and we engaged with you to gather the required information. The information was then sent to the medical aid. Unfortunately, they have not processed the information yet. We are following up with them and expect your payment to be processed once they have captured your banking details. We understand your frustration and apologise for the delay.
Kind regards,
PSG Wealth
