Horrible administration services

I resigned from my my previous last month and my company via PSG were supposed to process a transfer and withdrawal which should have taken 3-4 weeks according to their timelines. Today I call in to check if there is any progress and shocked to learn that nothing has happened.

Whats worse is that at the point of exit, I requested for a meeting with the account manager which was declined as she was too busy.

Now possible looking at another 3 week delay which might turn into 2 months if i do not follow up myself.

Hi there,

Your response is misleading as no adviser has been in contact with me save for the forwarding of the email that confirms the following. The withdrawal and transfer request submitted on the 5th of November has had no movement. The last communication was from my former employer notifying PSG that an instruction had been loaded and that PSG would conform if all was in order.
My call to Sanlam ( where funds are invested) this morning confirmed that no instruction had been received.

PSG in my opinion should be in contact with my former employer and Sanlam to ensure that all paperwork has been transferred and come back to me with clear answers and expected resolution dates.

Hi again Sam,

Samkeliso has informed us that the two of you have spoken, having informed you that Sanlam confirmed that your claim is in progress, and the required documentation has been sent to Sanlam.

Are you happy with the status of the information provided and steps that have now been taken?

Regards,

Hi there.

We only spoke post your email. I am not convinced that the claim is in progress as I spoke to Sanlam directly in the morning, I will call them again tomorrow to confirm. What irks me further is PSGs trying to pass the buck on this issue. If i had not followed up in the morning, no progress would have happened on my claim. Unless I am completely misguided here, I expect that PSG as the intermediary between my former employer and Sanlam, would follow up on all admin processes to avoid such unnecessary delays and inconveniences.

If the claim is in progress as Samkeliso says, which exact date can I expect this issue to be finalized?
