Wear and tear on an element of a tumble dryer but a geyser also have an element

I've been with PSG now for more than 18 years,put a claim in and the rejected it,a technician came to my house to check my tumble dryer and said its the element so he wrote his report so base on that they said wear and tear on a element and rejected it.So phoned them yesterday and asked how can a element have wear and tear,but its not the element cause the main problem with the tumble dryer is that it is not working doesn't want to turn so now its the element,even a couple of years back my tiles lifted up in my house phoned the and the assessor said its due to mining activities but no mining activities under my house and also rejected my claim so im very disappointed.
