Threatening a 8 month pregnant women that you will send them to jail???!!!

<p>I submitted a *** with PSG for a vehicle accident that happened on the 16th of September and PSG appointed an assessor named Jurie Slabbert to assess the claim. I was asked to meet him to discuss my claim. I was informed by the assessor that the driver noted on the police report was different to the information we gave to my insurance company.</p> <p> </p> <p>The assessor further went on by stating that this was a “Big” problem on the claim and that there is a big possibility that my insurance company will open up a ******** case against me if I take the claim further and not withdraw it. This meeting was recorded by myself and I have to state that I find this bullying tactic is appalling and in very bad taste. He kept on say that I need to withdraw the claim otherwise PSG will open a ******** case.</p> <p> </p> <p>In response to his allegations, I have written a letter to him and Yolandi Swart from PSG to have everything on record. In this letter I stated exactly what happened and who was the driver at the time of the accident wich is what we have been saying from the start. In this letter, I also asked that ANY further questions or remarks be put in writing as I need everything on record as the behavior of the assessor is shocking, to say the least, and I need records of his communication!</p> <p> </p> <p>I was now informed that he again phoned my family member who he alleged drove the vehicle and threatened her that she better come clean and tell the truth otherwise she will be sent to jail, she is 8 months pregnants and has a small child and he then said that “what would they think if their mother is sent to jail?!”</p> <p> </p> <p>How can you as PSG allow or condone such outrageous behavior of your staff/subcontractors? How can it be justified to threaten a highly pregnant mother of a small child that she will go to jail if she does not change her story?</p> <p> </p> <p>I CANNOT and WILL NOT change the statement just because it suits the insurance company. I have given you the facts and in writing, as you requested.</p> <p> </p> <p>I insist that a senior claims manager gets in contact with me to explain whether this bizarre practice is condoned and encouraged by PSG and if not what will be done about this matter??</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
