Insurance Claim

At 8.00 am today I reported a claim to PSG Insure in Centurion as my car was broken into during the night and back passenger window smashed. I spoke to Ebert who told me that he will generate a claim number which he will forward to Grandmaster Auto Glass, who will then contact me to arrange repairs. If I make use of Grandmaster I will not pay an excess but if I use PG Glass or Glasfit, I am liable for 25% of the cost. The obvious choice then will be Grandmaster. After two hours, I still did not hear from PSG nor Grandmaster and on enquiring, I get told by another call centre agent that they are within their right of a 3 hour turnaround time to generate a claim number. I then insist on speaking to their supervisor Chantell and she assures me that they can issue a number immediately which they did. I then contact Grandmaster, who just never answer their telephone. Back to PSG to be finally told that Grandmaster anyway do not have the window in stock and I will have to pay for it if they order one. I was advised at this point to go to PG or Glasfit and now pay 25% of R4700 that I was quoted. 3 wasted hours later!! And I made the change to PSG thinking I will get service
