Avoid doing business with them!!!!
I made the mistake of approving a quotation from PSG in Bela-Bela.
I wrecked my car on the 09/03/2018. So after a few calls, I decided to join Auto & General. But due to financial reasons, I looked at a cheaper insurance as I could not afford the installment, so i made the horrible mistake to join your team and approving a quote (Santam) from the Bela Bela team in Limpopo. They gave me a quotation for round about R 515 which I approved immediately as I could afford it. So on the 1st of June, when the policy was acctivated, I was informed that due to my claim history I got penalised on my installment, thus my premium are more than the quotation. No one at the branch informed me before hand,
And it is the 4th, and my installment has not gone off my bank account, so if something happens I will hold PSG BELA BELA, LIMPOPO responsible for if,or any damages accured due to their error
I just received a mail due to your claim history your premium has been increased to R 650, after i approved the quote of R 515? I understand the big claim, but i got penalised for 2 windscreen claims, after I was informed by a third party that you do not get penalised for it???
Marius, the guy who helped me originally is not replying on my emails, I am dealing with Annemi. Not very realiable.
I am so disappointed in PSG, that i so wished i could have stayed at Auto & General. Not ever will I ever recommend anyone to use PSG. They ***** your money and just make it off as a miscommunication between parties which is BULL, as they should have done their work properly before doing a quote
I need feedback or I am taking this to the ombudsman
Hi Lenay,

Hi Lenay,

Dear Lenay,
Unfortunately, your insurer adjusted your premium when past claims that you had not declared as part of the quotation process came to light. As your advisory firm, PSG Insure has no control over the premiums insurers levy. Furthermore, we were not in a position to advise you of the higher premium as your application form, supporting documentation and email correspondence made no mention of these claims. As we could only finalise outstanding information due from you on 29 May, we were also unable to request a debit order commencement date of 1 June within the short timeframe.
It is unfortunate that you feel frustrated, but we can assure you that we followed due process. Furthermore, while your final premium was higher than initially expected, we were pleased that it was lower than you were previously paying and offered a more attractive excess structure. We look forward to engaging in constructive conversations to see how we can assist you further and will be in contact again in this regard.
Regards
PSG Insure
