Yellow stained with blood splatter sanitary pads

My wife recently bought a packet of sanitary pads from a local shop close by. When she opened the packet the first piece she took had yellow stains and red drops that looked like blood stain/splatter. Being hygiene conscious she decided to buy another packet and kept the stained one. Personally as her husband I am very unhappy and for her having to experience this during "that time of the month" is very disappointing
