Problem with Clairol Nice n easy hair colour (3.5)

Good day!<br> I called the Clairol Nice n easy customer care line (11/08/15) to report that the hair colour product I used did not achieve the desired result. I wanted a dark brown and was left with pitch black hair. The consultant called Sharon was not prepared to help. Firstly, she told me that for having dark hair, I 'should have' tried a lighter shade. I followed the information on the back of the box which does not indicate that it cannot be used on darker hair - it indicates 'dark brown to black- in which category I fall into. She debated this issue, then asked if I did a strand test. As I used this product before, I did not. Either way I would have still reported the issue so technically, I conducted a strand test . She indicated that even if it was the wrong colour, I did not do a test so it did not matter. Clairol is not prepared to even test this product. Also the consultant was very unhelpful, condescending, debating the issue and had no intention of taking any steps to assist. I paid money for a product that did not work. Atleast be ethical and principled and assist your clients before finding placing blame on them. <br> <br> Can you assist in any way?<br> <br> Nisha Moodley
