Dissapointed mum

So I recently purchased pampers premium from a clicks store in Durban I always use pampers for both my kids i have tried other brands and for me pampers is my first choice. To my knowledge pampers premium is supposed to be of superior quality to the pampers active because hello as the name says premium so already you expecting exceptional quality. This was not the case however I was having endless problems where it was leaking urine and messing my babys clothes. The email address I have for them says not delivered *** so I went on Facebook to message them directly. Here are the responses I recieved : Good day Melissa,

Thank you for contacting Pampers 😊 ,

I'm so sorry to hear about the leaks that you're having with our diapers. This is not the quality we want you to receive. My name is Tiffany and I will be happy to assist you with your query.

Kindly share an image of the front of the pack and the LOT code. It can be found on the side of the pack where you tear it open and is printed in black starting with the letters LOT.

Kindly also advise if the diapers are leaking urine, gel or poo ?

Kindly share an estimation on the time frame in which you change baby.

Do you apply bum creams with every nappy change ?

Thank you for sharing the above.

Frequent leaks occur once baby has outgrown the absorbency of the diapers before the fit. Based on the information you have shared, if you are open to it, you can move baby to a size 5 diapers which will accommodate baby's urine capacity and weight and stop the leaks.

We also have recommended changing times that is every 3-4 hours, if the diapers is left on longer than that the diaper may leaks. Please try to adjust your changing times.

Lastly, research over the years has shown that the usage of bum creams affect the absorbency of the diapers. Please try applying a thin layer og bum cream and not with every nappy change.

The up to 12 hours slogan does not refer to the amount of time baby can be kept with one diaper but the time that baby's bottom will stay dry inside the diaper.

We are in no way stating that one range is better than the next as no two babies are the same and consumers have different preferences.

Size 5 accommodates baby's within the weight range of 11-16 kg.

These were the ridiculous responses I received Of course I use bum cream Why would I change my baby every 3 to 4 hours it's not feesable. So 12 hours dryness is just a slogan guys doesn't mean you can use the diaper for upto 12 hours.

Size 4 although says upto 14 kgs isn't appropriate I should use size 5 which starts from 11 kgs My son weights 11 kgs so that means their size guide is incorrect.

Lastly she says no 2 babys are the same etc I'm not comparing babys I'm comparing their products two pampers products active and premium so why is it that I don't have this issue with the active but with the premium you telling me to do all these things that don't make sense.
