Braun Shaver - P&G ConsumerCare, MasterCare

<p>I have been looking for a decent Shaving device that would last longer that a few months and after much research and reading reviews I wanted the Braun cruzer 6 Face. costing around R1000 with 3 year warranty would be much better that my previous 3 shavers that was around R300-R500 and lasted a year. I have received it as a Gift last year around Aug and really enjoyed it, how ever in April the Device did not want to charge anymore and with the safety feature, I could not even leave the charger cable in to shave my beard. I have made contact with P&G ConsumerCare and explained what happened and also saying that is was a gift and I dont have the receipt. But argument was that the device is not even 2 years on the market and surely they can assist. That is when they send me to Master Care for the repairs. After arriving at Mastercare they wanted to take my device and go ahead with repairs but have to pay R160 handling fee and have to show receipt. I also explained the same storie and after going back to P&G Consumercare they count not assist me if I dont have the receipt. Sad that the device is not working and not worth fixing. I have sinced been on the look out for a new shaver and judging by the reviews Panasonic is the way to go.</p>
