Theft and bad customer service
My issue is on the 28th of September I took my Microsoft Lumia 640 for replacement of second sim reader as it was faulty. That was the only thing faulty on my phone.
When I collected the phone on 02 October I paid R150, the guy showed me the replaced sim reader took the phone and went home. At first he assured me it's done, he doesn't have to open the phone but I insisted on seeing it.
He had no choice but to open it, he took battery out and showed me. He put battery back and closed it. I took the phone home and opening it myself when I got home discovered my original Microsoft battery was swapped with those **** batteries and my camera was no longer working. Because it was late in the afternoon took the phone back the next day for them to fix the camera forgetting to mention the battery.
On Friday the 11th they called to say the camera is fixed but with only one sim reader. If that is the case why did I take my phone there in the first place because it was to replace second sim but they felt they have to remove it completely without my consent and not what I paid for.
They opened the phone for me with one sim reader and I refused to take it because there was nothing wrong with 1st sim in the first place. The white guy there said they called me. Called me for what? To tell me that they did something I did not request to my phone. The **** battery was still in the phone at that time.
I called the Saturday morning to say I want my original battery back. Some guy answered and while speaking to him he said he said I must speak to someone else because he does not have time for me. He handed the phone to another guy of which I mentioned to him the other guys attitude towards me as a customer. I went and collected it only then they gave me my original battery which I was not going to get back if I never noticed it was swapped. Clearly my battery was ****** by Procell Protea Glen.
The guy there made some lame excuse that they were boosting the phone and forgot about the battery which I'm not buying his story. I even told him not everyone is stupid.
My Lumia phone is still at the shop and same guy who made excuse about battery asked me if that phone has screen protector. Why would he ask that. I hope my original screen is still intact because I know how it looks and I know all it's scratches so if it's changed I will notice. I don't trust that shop anymore and I hope my phone will be in the condition it was in when I left it on 28th September.
