Hospitality Pro-Management not so professional at all!

Mara and Anneline Strydom, trading as Pro-Management, wanted to settle down from their 'B&B locum' business in the position of permanent general managers at my establishment. While we tried to accommodate their every preference, their experience-based locum business model is not adaptable to a permanent position. Mara and Anneline were extremely inflexible regarding most of my business, treating it, not as a very successful going concern, but as a broken thing that needed their old-fashioned approach to discipline, guest relations and service. Despite having signed a permanent contract (theirs), they gave us a mere 4 day's notice before quitting after just 2 months in the job. In those two months they changed (or tried to change) even the most basic processes and offerings without fundamentally understanding how they were eroding the guest satisfaction and our business' value proposition. They are unable to make the transition from locum to permanent guest house managers due to their old-fashioned, inflexible and autocratic approach to someone else's business.
