3/5 - Decent, but room for improvement

PSIRA does a solid job regulating the private security industry, but it’s not without its flaws. On the plus side, they provide clear guidelines and ensure security companies and guards meet certain standards, which is reassuring. However, their processes can feel a bit slow and bureaucratic—getting certifications or resolving issues often takes longer than expected.

Customer service is hit or miss; sometimes you get helpful, prompt responses, and other times it’s like pulling teeth to get answers. Also, their online system could use an upgrade—it’s not the most user-friendly, and navigating it can be frustrating.

Overall, PSIRA does what it’s supposed to, but it could definitely be more efficient and customer-focused. If they streamlined their processes and improved communication, they’d easily earn a higher rating. For now, it’s a decent effort but not outstanding.
