Primi Piatti Table View Beyond Terrible

On Sunday evening 29/09/2019 my family and I went to Primi Piatti Table View for supper, and what a disappointment it was.

It started off bad and got worse as the evening progressed.

After being seated our drinks order was taken, on arrival we asked our waiter to bring us a kiddie "make it yourself" pizza which he did do... Unfortunately this is where the trouble started.

My nephew had finished making his pizza and then had to wait 27minutes before the waiter came to collect it as he was too focused on the table behind us that only had 1 person sitting at it.

Eventually my nephews pizza was taken away to be cooked. We then placed our meal orders. My husband ordered two starters as his main - one of the starters being the chicken livers. The waiter leaves our table and within seconds is back and says to my husband "you can change your livers to cubes of steak if you like" to which my husband responds "yes please" and the waiter leaves.

In the meantime my nephews pizza arrives and he enjoyed his meal.

About 20minutes later the waiter appears at our table and tells my husband there is no avo so he cannot have his second started that he'd ordered. My husband is not happy but leaves is.

Our food arrives.... My brother's pizza arrives with no avo and when questioned says "sorry there's no avo". If my brother had known that before hand he would never had ordered pizza as the only reason he eats pizza is due to the fact it has avo on it.

So we all eat our meals and enjoy our surrounds and this is where it gets worse...

We ask for our bill.... Omg... The bill then says we have to pay R205 for a "Pika-Poka Filley" when I called the waiter to query this as we didn't order a fillet he turns around and tells us that the chicken livers were the fillet...At no time did the waiter tell us that we were going from a R75 starter to a R205 starter which is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

At no time did the waiter (1) tell us that he was up-scaling the starter to a main meal he just asked if we wanted to replace the chicken livers with cubed steak and (2) at no time did the waiter tell us there was no avo despite the fact that we were later informed that all staff had been advised prior to their shifts starting that there was no avo.

When we confronted the manager on duty he was non-chalant about the whole debacle and said he'd address it with the waiter.

That is unacceptable our bill was R890 so it's not like we were there for fun, we were there to celebrate and this is the service we received... Being ********** by staff and then having to pay for a meal we were not informed was going to be more than double the price of the actual meal we ordered.

We frequently eat at Primi Piatti Table Viewt but moving forward will not be stepping our foot back in Primi Piatti Table View.

We emailed Primi Piatti Table View on the 02/10/2019 and to date we've had no response just proving that Primi Piatti Table View does not care about its customers.
