Primi Piatti Cavendish - undercooked food, slow service, manager needs a wake up call

I'll get straight to the point, if you would like to go to Primi, please avoid the Cavendish branch.

My fiancé and I arrived at the restaurant ordered 2 burgers, 2 waters and 2 chocolate milkshakes.

What transpired after was very disappointing and as a Primi owner I think you should be very embarrassed.

Slow service
Our water got to us 15 mins after we arrived; This was after asking 2 waiters where it was.

Our burgers was on time, but the chips arrived 10 mins after.

My burger was half raw, I then sent this back. The "chef" then took the same patty burnt it along with the cheese and placed it back on the bun. He then sent this back on the bun in a huge round plate.

I then called the manager, another 10mins passed, the manager arrived just before I got my chips, which should have arrived with the burger the "chef" tried to save.

Poor management

The manager thinks the customers are the problem instead of the staff, he believes there are worse events and my complaints are light (seriously?), I think you should close down the branch then.

Instead of listening to your customers, he tries and sweet talk his way out i.e. blaming public holidays for staff not attending work, blaming grumpy customers for outbursts.

The fact that Primi does not respond to any complaints on this site, further shows their poor ORM and CRM.

Awful milkshakes
The chocolate milkshakes taste like a packet of sugar mixed with milk, you could chew the sugar.
The manager has the nerve to say this is how the owners like it – seriously? How the owners like it?

I bet he never had the guts to tell the owners it taste like ****. (I went to Cape Town Fish Market later the night and got a perfect chocolate milkshake, smooth, cold, lovely chocolate taste, you could take some tips)

Solution
Close the store to the public, have the waiters and managers attend to the owners instead of customers.

What a joke, customer service has been tossed out the window. You’ve lost a customer.
