child's forehead sliced with steak knife careless
On Christmas eve, we arrived in Cape Town and settled in at our favourite Franchise Primi. We frequent the Melrose Arch Primi which has no equal (mY opinion). After paying the bill at V&A we signalled to the kids it was time to leave. wa whilst my daughter moved from the kids area to the table, following my wife, a waiter with a stack of dishes and cutlery clumsily crashed into my daughter. A steak knife wedged between 2 plates sliced open her forehead. The waiters had no clue how to deal with the situation. I app**** pressure to stop the bleeding. The manager came to the table 4 minutes later. I requested a first aid kit..he rushed off and I never saw him again. After 7 minutes, trying to seal the wound we got up and left in search of the ER facility. An hour and 3 stitches later I call the restaurant from Christian B Memorial. He said he panicked and didn't know what to do!! He said he would call back and check on my daughter. 3 months later and no call, no apology. My mails to Primi head office has no response to date. I am seriously disappointed in this franchise. I will continue to support the Melrose Arch solely thanks to Simba the Manager and his amazing hospitality. VD
