94.7 Competitions are ****s!

On Monday Aug 29th I entered and won the 84.7 McDonald McCafe competition where Anele and the Club would asked who said a particular phrase and had to sms the answer with your name and ID number.

The station then phoned me, I spoke to Anele and the club and they congratulated me for winning. A lady by the name of Nomcebo then asked for my cell and email, she said I’d get an sms or email and my R2500 would be credited to my accounts in 40days.

Needless to say it’s been 4 months still nothing. I’ve since phoned the station several times and this Nomcebo lady keeps saying she’ll phone back. Eventually a Bongumusa Zondi Commercial Coordinator emailed me on the 40th Nov (no apology ) saying he had received a “query” from his colleague asking for a copy of my ID and proof of banking details. I sent him the docs and we’ll guess what still nothing!

Before this I sent a voice note to the Anele and the club WhatsApp number, they listened, didn’t respond and basically ignored.

As much as I love the station, I find this utterly ridiculous and absurd! I demand y winnings.
