Prime Cure Prospecton

Want to start by commending Dr Maharaj at Prime Cure Prospecton on always doing his very best for my family and I,he is our family doctor and he is the best gp around. However haven said that I can't say the same about the staff reception and the lady in the accounts department. My wife visited the doctor for a consult on medical aid. Normally after 5visits the medical aid requires for the reception to call in for authorization however this didn't happen. Later on that month doctors accounts department realises that medical aid hadn't paid for that consult. Nobody from the doctors rooms contacted me to let me know that medical aid hadn't paid and that I have a choice to come and pay in cash or should Prime Cure resubmit to medical aid however they handed me over to debt collectors. Debt collectors started phoning family members first and harassing them and that's how I found out that I have an unpaid consult with Prime Cure. So I called the rooms to query they insist they mention this to my wife when she came in for another consult which clearly didn't happen 'coz I always accompany my wife to the doctor. I didn't even receive a phone call,statement,not even a email but had handed me over to debt collectors. This is very unprofessional,I feel I've been prosecuted before even been known about the offence. The consult was R336 and now the debt collectors Vericred are claiming R645. Totally unfair and I am now taking the accounts department from Prime Cure to court.
