My dad (aged 79) was diagnosed with macular degeneration a few years ago and he's been a patient of Dr Niemandt's since the diagnosis, and has had monthly injections to try and slow the degeneration. I cannot aptly express my gratitude that my father ended up under Dr Niemandt's care. We couldn't have asked for a better Doctor or team - the ladies in his office are great! Every interaction with the staff at the Pretoria Eye Institute has been very friendly and it certainly helps to sooth the nerves when going in for eye injections. A highly recommend Institute and a great Doctor makes the world of difference.
