Precision in cohorts with Old mutual insurer to keep my car against my will

My car was taken by Precision towing service and now they don’t want to release it when I ask for it because they need a confirmation from my insurer . I don’t understand why the car is still kept there without my permission under name of “your insurance did not give us permission “ to take your car out .

Please assist me because I don’t think this is right according to law
