PowerPlastics - worst cover ever
This company is the worst when it comes to service. I paid R11,000+ for a pool cover that does not do what is is supposed to, keep children safe. I have struggled since 2017 (date to be confirmed) to got a refund on a sub-standard 'safety cover'. I took my case to Consumer Goods & Services Ombudsman (CGSO) (after various different channels), and it was finally resolved in 2020. (If you need more info, let me know...)

23 Sept 2020, 12:47This comment is really just a case of slander and dredging up the past! This issue goes back four years and was closed and resolved six months ago. Is the intent just to elicit another comment, so far down the line? Our comment is that this matter was already closed so why try and re-open it if not for slander? We’ve moved on and so should Riaan van Jaarsveld. We can’t comment on the Ombudsman but as a company, we deal with thousands of clients and have a positive relationship with so many. Unfortunately, in the course of business, we will come across uneven paving and a rocky relationship follows. We do all we can to ensure the perfect pool cover and we resolve issues in the moment, not months or years later.
