Does what the marketing say

Bought a dark blue pool cover from PowerPlastics some years back. Cost, I think, 25% more than the light blue one. I bought the marketing that said dark blue would cut costs as it wouldn't let sunlight through, and therefore no algae growth, and therefore less chemicals needed, etc... and that has completely been my experience. We run the filter for less hours - salt water pool - so there is a good electricity and wear and tear saving, and the final benefit is that the pool (full sunshine) doesn't get as hot in summer as it used to with the light blue cover.

Many thanks for your Hello Peter review. Our EnergyGuard Geobubble is an international award winning cover in innovation and it is certainly a clever cover. In a recent revamp of the technology it is now allowing heat into the water too, making it an amazing saver of water, saver of electricity and allowing those light rays which heat the water through the material while eliminating light rays allowing algae growth. Who said pool covers are simple? They certainly have a great deal of technology in them, and when you buy the best, you certainly get more than what you ever thought a pool cover could give you. Many thanks for sharing your story on Hello Peter, it is appreciated.
