Why is an issue with the airlines my problem
My mother couriered my car keys back to me after she unintentionally took them back to joburg with her.

They were due here today but I have just followed up with the couriers and been told that the delivery had not yet arrived in cape town and it would only be delivered tomorrow.

I have a few issues, firstly we went with post net instead of fastway so that the keys would get here faster, and secondly nobody bothered to contact me to tell me that the parcel would be delivered late.

Maybe it is your standard operating procedures to mess around your clients, but I am used to decent service from other couriers and I am appalled that this is how you treat your clients.

I have no back up plan to get myself to work and my kids to school since the keys should have been delivered during the course of the day.

I have spoken to Samantha Mayer and it appears my job is just to wait until you get them here and they accept no responsibility for failure to deliver because it as the airlines fault.
Very sorry that we failed in our service promise in this regard. At PostNet we pride ourselves in rendering top notch customer service and it is always very disappointing when we have seemingly failed.
It is so that we cannot control technical delays at the airlines and in this case it was a most unfortunate delay as a result of this.
The shipment was delivered to the PostNet on 2 December 2015.
Kind regards.
