Switched My Parcel!!!

Last week Wednesday (3rd June) I needed to get some urgent documents to australia for a visa. I went to Postnet in sandton city and they assured me the easiest, quickest and safest way to send documents abroad was to use their connection with DHL fast mail. So I paid R670 for my documents to be sent. They assured me it would take 2-3 days for delivery. 4 days later (Sunday) I received a call from a stranger informing me my documents had arrived at a school in Swaziland. The DHL envelope they arrived in had the details of a scholar who had sent her documents to Swaziland. She also used Postnet in sandton. I immediately contacted DHL who informed me that Postnet had swopped my documents and another clients documents and ours had been sent to each others addresses. When I contacted sandton city Postnet the lady told me to call back on Monday when a manger was around and then put the phone down on me. Lovely phone manners. Now (Tuesday 9th June) almost a week later I have been calling Postnet and DHL daily to follow up on my documents, and guess what- they still have not been collected at the incorrect address in Swaziland and have thus not been sent to australia. Unacceptable service.

Hello Bee1989,

Very sorry for the confusion and frustration that the swapping of the waybills have caused.

The owner of the store is fully aware of what has transpired and have taken corrective measures to have the shipment recollected and forwarded to Australia. He has provided you with updates and the latest update this morning.

Kind regards.

Dawid Liebenberg

Best regards,
