****** Parcel

i couriered a parcel in August 2020 from Oudtshoorn Post net to Pretoria. on the day that the parcel was suppose to arrive in Pretoria oudtshoorn post net phoned me and informed me the truck was hijacked with all the parcels in. they requested that i send them a quote for the ****** goods. I Send the quote on the 21 of August 2020. the ****** goods was 10 tanned ostrich skins as a birthday present for my mother. total value was R 35 200.00. they then said post net does not cover this. my response was that i did inform them what the contents for the parcel was and they had no problem to send it and also did not inform me that there insurance would not cover this. they then submitted the claim to there insurance which they stated would take 6 to 8 weeks to be approved and pay out. to my surprise and 43 emails later to the branch and copying in seniors officials from Post net SA which never responded on R 2 900.00 was paid out last night almost 6 months later.
