Shocking Service

Today was the second time in 2 weeks I walked out of PostNet Oudtshoorn. The service at this PostNet is simply SHOCKING and I gave this staff a piece of my mind today !! They make no eye contact with customers and just don’t acknowledge a customer standing waiting. If this lady just once looked up from her computer screen and acknowledged me as a customer saying “I will be with you as soon as I can” all would have been ok. Sorry but NONE of the staff here seem to know what customer service is. I was standing at least 14 minutes being ignored as all the staff was going about each doing their own thing. Then another staff member walked in and also ignored me but helped the customer that entered PostNet after me and I was already standing at least 8 minutes in front of the one that was totally mesmerised by her screen. None of the staff greets a customer and they just carry on as if I was non-existent in their store. This is also not the first time I experience this service at PostNet Oudtshoorn. After looking at this girl on the computer I asked if I could be helped? Her answer to me was “I am busy” without even looking up from the screen. I walked out and phoned the owner but apparently, he and his wife are not there and the staff are not sure when they will be back this week. I guess this also explains a lot. Please train your staff in BASIC customer friendliness and manners and make them wear name tags so that you know whom you are dealing with! I am still furious at this pathetic place !!
