Postnets gluttonous and careless service

I arrived at postnet with my (pre bubble and plastic wrapped) varsity portfolio ready to send it off in hopes of studying and building my career. I was then charged a surplus of roughly R200 for my package being 2.1 KG when the limit is 2KG. Then again a surplus of roughly R200 for delivering to a university. After paying so much I asked them to please put a fragile sticker and a this way up sticker.

I got a call from the Head of submissions at the varsity I sent my portfolio only to hear that it arrived in pieces. I commented to the staff at postnet that my future was in their hands so please take care of my package. To hear it had been destroyed, during POSTNET’s terrible courier service, was heart breaking and could severely affect my application. I’m deeply disappointed and disheartened after paying a premium fee and gettin a trashy unprofessional service.

Who knows if I’m entitled to a refund?
