Postnet Uitenhage

I have problem with tbe Postnet Uitenhage. A parcel was sent tp me in Sept 2020. On quierying now I am told that parcels not collected are destroyed if not colllected in 3 months. THIS IS PROVIDED THAT SMS'S WERE SRND FOLLOWED UP WITH PHONE CALLS. Destroyed parcels should have proof of all this and a record is kept on exactly where it is. No one ay the branch can tell me anythinh just that it is destroyed. I am not allowed to speak or get the owners tel no. Apparently there were waterdamage of some sort that also destroyed some records. Could it conveniently be the record of the destroyed goods. I was then told that the owner keeps the records as zi asked how difficult it could be to check in the record book.???
