Poor service to the lowest level. tracking number SUBBD***2
I find postNet useless, a package was sent through from Piet Retief on the 13-Apr-2019 and it was meant to reach myself in Johannesburg by the 18-Apr-2019. To my surprise when I went to collect at the Stubbensvalley PostNet I was told that the package hadn't arrived, this was on the 17-April-2019. The lady at the Strubbenvalley Postnet was extremely helpful, she then tried tracing the parcel only to find that it was in Johannesburg, but it has been routed back to the sender as they claim address is not clear, or it doesn't specify which company the package is going to. To my surprise the lady at Strubbensvalley was able to confirm everything was clear, the address is correct it corresponds to Strubbensvalley's correct address. During her efforts in trying to trace the package, DSV representative by the name of Anele on the 17-April-2019 then confirmed that the parcel will be re-routed to Strubbensvalley and it will be delivered before the end of day 18-Apr-2019.
Did that happen no! Strubbensvalley called DSV in the morning to be told that the parcel is now being sent back to the sender, that is in Piet Retief (Mpumalanga).
I tried making contact with Postnet Piet Retief to seak their assistance, but in my efforts, I came empty-handed. All they could offer was we are sorting it out we will call you back. Still no call.
The parcel is items that I need to return to a store and the latest date is 19-Apr-2019; after this date, I lose my warranty.
who will compensate me for the loss, Postnet, DSV??????
If DSV couldn't make out the address why didn't they make contact with the sender/receiver their contact details are very clear on the bill.
