Poor service delivery

Late delivery and false estimates of delivery time.

Early last week, I was awaiting the delivery of an urgent document. Upon payment, the sender was informed by PostNet in Glenwood that the document would be delivered to me in Johannesburg by no later than 1pm the following day. On the day in question, I received an SMS stating that I would receive my document before 12pm. However, after many calls to Aramex and PostNet, my document was delivered at 4:30pm - at the end of the working day!!!!

Later the same week, I needed another urgent document sent to me. The sender made the payment at PostNet in Pietermaritzburg on Friday and was told that I would receive the document on Monday by 1pm. This morning, the intended day of delivery, when I tracked my parcel it stated that it was at a processing center in Durban!!!! Not even in the destination province!!!

This is appalling service delivery from a company that promises speedy and reliable service. I am in a time sensitive situation whereby these documents need to be handed in timeously!! If PostNet provided accurate estimates of delivery then perhaps no one would want to use their service. I do not appreciate being led astray when my future endeavors hang in the balance! Won't be using their services again!
