Pathetic service
I asked my wife to travel (25km from where we are and 25km back)to the postnet shop to send a parcel to the UK, after asking them repeatedly and showing them the Address where she wants to have it sent, the lady behind the counter( suposedly new there) and the manager or supevisor both said thy dont do international parcels. So after work I traveld there my self (25km again there and 25km back) I also enquierd about sending the parcel to the UK again i was told they dont do it. So then i said but on postnet 's web page it states that they do, only then did the manager say O Ok they do it and then proceded to give me the price. So why do i have to travel up and down and get stuffed around. Now i must travel there again to send the parcel. 150Km traveling plus time waisted. I Phoned the head office and got transferd to the BDM (Buissnes developmet Manager for the area and got cut off, i called on his Cell and just got voice mail. still waiting for a call back) Is this The way Postnet employees conducts them selfs, is this the image of your componey to the Public?
Very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration that were caused as a result of this most unfortunate matter.
The matter was discussed with the owner of the store and it seems that the misunderstanding occurred when the staff member was lead to believe an international mail service was required. As a result of delays at SAPO the service could not be offered at the time and thus a courier option was proposed.
We also sincerely apologise for the communication issues with the relevant BDM. Our Call Centre should have obtained your details and then arranged a call back.
Kind regards.
