Paid for Overnight Delvery BUT False Promise

I paid for an overnight delivery of a small package from Richards Bay to Durban, less than 1 kg@ R180. The item was not delivered the next day. If this was NOT an overnight delivery, WHY charge for it. I could have used the Post Office/Speed Services for R75. Is this not *****? False advertising? Please explain.
