I am extremely disappointed with the way my parcel was handled by PostNet Ferndale.

A parcel was delivered to the PostNet Ferndale branch on 20 August 2026. The parcel apparently had no recipient name on it and was addressed only to “Owner”.

Instead of the parcel being kept safely while the sender or intended recipient was identified, I was informed that the owner apparently took the parcel home, opened it, and then gave the contents to someone else.

This is completely unacceptable. A parcel delivered to a PostNet branch should remain secure until ownership can be established. It should not be opened, taken home or given away to another person.

I would like PostNet to investigate exactly what happened at PostNet Ferndale, explain how a parcel in their possession could be handled in this manner, and confirm what steps will be taken to resolve the matter and prevent this from happening again.

I expect a proper response and resolution from PostNet.
