Overpriced compared to other branches

I have used this branch for a while and always felt that they are very pricey, so I went to the PostNet website to get a quote for a package I want to send. The website gave me an estimate of R190.00 (door to door economy) given the weight and the dimensions. While the lady behind the counter weighed and measured my package, the owner of the Chili Lane branch came from the back office and gave her instructions to bill me for a 7kg packed given the dimensions and weight. I found this quite strange that he felt it necessary to intervene with this process of pricing. I then ask him why they are charging me for a 7kg package as this is not what the website indicated and asked how much. The owner told me it's a 7 kg package, I then explained I meant how much does it cost, so he proceeded to tell me that no one is forcing me to use their service. I then told him, I only want to know how much it costs. At this stage he had this look of extreme anger on his face. The lady then said R270.00. I was already late for work, so i just paid it and left. I then called the PostNet at Sunninghill Village and they quoted me R200.00 for the same dimensions, I will rather use them from now on!
