Next day delivery means 5 days

We had to send something very urgently to my mother. Due to the urgency of the situation we had to send it for next day delivery. We usually use the R99 special offer that they have and which works fantastic but we didn't have an option at that stage. We paid for next day delivery on Thursday only to, when the parcel wasn't delivered, find out that it was sent to the wrong place or the wrong people (we are still to get a clear answer out of anyone there). My husband did get his money back when he complained on Saturday that the parcel hasn't yet arrived and that no-one seems to have a clue as to where it is. The owner promised follow ups but nothing yet. The problem is that we paid extra to have it couriered and delivered due to the content of the parcel and it is still missing. How can that be acceptable? Why isn't anyone doing a proper follow up on where the goods are? In which era is it acceptable not to give your customers any feedback, even if you're at fault?

No Postnet, we'll rather use another courier company going forward.

Hello T.Louw,

Very sorry for the confusion and frustration regarding the whereabouts of the parcel.

As discussed with the owner of PostNet Doringkloof today the parcel was awaiting collection from PostNet Three Rivers.

As there was no receiving contact telephone number the recipient could not be contacted upon arrival of the parcel.

Kind regards.
