missing parcel

I sent a parcel valued at R600 via postnet and the parcel has been declared missing. it was sent on the 6th of april and it was suppose to take 2-3 working days for delivery. As yet the parcel never arrived and i am getting unsatisfactory answers as to what happened to my parcel. I am being told that there is no refund for sentimental value package. It feels like i have lost the parcel and not postnet. My question is where is my refund for my sentimental value item sent via them. <br> <br> I am being blamed for not insuring the parcel which would have costed me R3000 to insure items worth R600.
