Laptop ****** by postnet/aramax

PLEASE DO NOT SEND STUFF VIA POSTNET/ARAMAX! THEY ***** YOUR ITEMS!

I sent a laptop from one Postnet to another for collection. According to tracking, I was told it arrived at the sorting centre. A month later after several follow ups, I was simply told it was lost, and there's nothing they can do. They did not allow me to take out insurance on the package and I sent it by my own risk. I wish I had read the reviews on here before I sent the package because electronics have been frequently reported 'lost'. It is clear that they are *****ing pricey items and ridding themselves of liability by not contacting you. PostNet does not even warn of the high risk of sending items because they want money and to ***** your item. I have yet to be contacted back and my case was closed without response hours after I lodged a complaint. Consumer protection needs to hear about this
