Horrible service at the 6th Avenue Walmer, Gqeberha branch

An absolutely crazy experience at the 6th Ave Walmer branch. I needed to have passports collected in Cape Town. I made sure to have all the required documents with me when I went. Here is the gist: 1. The person who "helped" me took the details, called someone to hear if they can pick up the docs. I paid and she said "I'll call you". I should have requested a booking receipt. My mistake. 2. I called 5 days later to follow up. "I cant get hold of the courier, I'll call you tomorrow" 3. No call, so I call back the next day. "I still cant reach the courier, but I have all your documents and they have been attached to an email". Also...told me "I can hear you are panicking"...no, I am angry because 6 days later I have no information. 4. At this point I call the consulate to hear if the passports are still there...they are. So I go to the branch to cancel the "booking". I get blank stares when I ask for my documents, they dont know where they are. I say "you told me you attached it to an email"...they respond..."do you know when the email was sent?"...do I know when you sent an email? The woman lifts up a deskpad...there are my documents. Essentially they must have never even booked my service and gaslit me via phonecall. 5. I got my refund, drove to the Humerail branch, and Lucy (an angel) sorted it out in 5 minutes. I just collected my passports for half the price 6th Avenue charged me.

Crazy experience, HORRIBLE service.
