Good-by PostNet!

PostNet at Knowles Center in Pinetown KZN must be the most inefficient, unorganized and basically useless organization on the planet! Actually PostNet on a whole are pretty useless. I had a package set from Johannesburg a week ago. I had a tracking number, so checked it had arrived on the internet tracking. Took the number and went to collect. The lady that served me looked in the book and told me that it was not there & asked if I had got an SMS. I told her that I had checked and it was there & she must look further back in the book, not just the 1st two pages. She did & behold it was there! She then went to search through what can only be described as a total jumbled mess of random packages laying on the floor, on various shelves & boxes etc. She could not find the package. She then told me that if I had not received an SMS then it was not there. I then asked her "how could it be written in the book if it was not there?" She then told me to go to the other PostNet in Pinetown. I told her to look again because it did not make sense that it was in her book if I was not there. Eventually after rumbling through the chaos again she found it. I know this is hard to believe, but it is true. On another note, I have never had a good experience at PostNet, they are just so inefficient & slow it is unbelievable. I have never once received an SMS confirming a packages arrival & I have received several packages through this PostNet. I have always had to wait for ages to get attended to. I decided to write this because I have had enough! I will be using a courier in future, its a LOT less stressful.
