false promise
I went to postnet brits branch this saturday on 29-08-15, requested a single paper document to be couried to zeerust, they explained nicely that for over night delivery the cost will be R250.00 only and for one to three working days would be R99.00 only. Now it was saturday around 10:30 am when i posted that document and i paid R250 for over night these meant my document will leave on monday 31-08-15 (since sunday they are closed which i perfecrly accept) now in my mind it means my document must reach destination tuesday during office(08:00-16:00) on 1st september. Now when i call them they say my document will take 1 to 3 working days .....is it overnight delivery???? They could aswell charged me R99.00 instead. Its wenesday 2nd september 11:25 am document hasnt arrived ...somebody explain to me may be im wrong but its a false promise.
Very sorry that we have seemingly not explained clearly with regards to our delivery services to outlying areas such as Zeerust at the time of transaction on Saturday, 29 August 2015.
We have referred the matter to the owner of the store who stated that it was specified that as the shipment would only be collected on the following Monday, it will take 2 - 3 working days before delivery.
The shipment was thus delivered on 2 September 2015.
