Don't use DHL service through PostNet

PostNet Ballito have completely messed up a simple small package sent through DHL. Clearly the staff have not been trained properly how to deal with DHL shipments. More than a week after I sent the package I was notified that it hadn't even left their branch in Ballito. Now I've been informed nearly 3 weeks later by DHL that we have to pay storage charges in Mombasa. PostNet LaLucia advised us from start to finish and our package was delivered in Mombasa 4 days later. PostNet Ballito need to realize that the general public do not understand how customs and storage charges work, and it is their responsibility to advise the client. Don't just stuff things in an envelope and send it, and then the client must try and sort the mess out. If anyone has a package to send into Africa, I recommend not to use the DHL service through PostNet Ballito, I never seen such a mess. DHL Mombasa has also been absolutely no help and are just saying they followed due course, never mind the fact that it is their partner PostNet that messed this up. We are now told that it is too bad for us and if we don't pay they will dispose of our package. What the hell kind of service is that?????????
