Disgusting Customer Service at POSTNET Westville

I am absolutely DISGUSTED by the service that I received at PostNet Westville, Jan Hofmeyer Road, by the manager.

I have been in there twice to try and send a document. The first time I waited in a queue for 15 minutes, I got the front and showed the lady the address that I wanted to send it to - she took one look, said that you do not courier to PO boxes and immediately went on to the next customer. When I tried to tell her that she was looking at the wrong address, she just ignored me, so I left.

I went back again today and tried to send the document again. She was very abrupt, telling me that I need to make sure that the address that I am sending the document to was open or else they would send my documents straight to the depot. When I tried to explain to her that these documents were highly important and that if that was the case, I would like to insure them, she asked me how much the value of the documents were because insurance is 3% of the value. I told her that I did not know, because they were pieces of paper - it is the information that is important. I gave her an arbitrary amount and she told me that I was making her life difficult because how could she charge me insurance for documents. If that is the case, she should have just told me straight away that PostNet services cannot insure documents (which I personally view as a huge lapse in their services). She continued to be rude to me when I kept trying to stress how important the documents were and eventually just gave me my documents back and told me to leave.

I have never received such shocking customer service in my life.

I will NEVER again use PostNet. This is the fourth time that I have had an issue with them - they previously lost a parcel that I sent and another time printed documents for me completely wrong from what I asked for.

They had better seriously adjust their protocols for insuring documents and keep their employees in line or they will continue to lose customers.

If I could have given zero stars I would have.
