**************** - Postnet Fern on Republic

My husband went to Postnet at the new Fern on Republic shopping center to print a school project. 27 August 2020. He was charged R10 per page. There was 1 full colour page and a front page with a bit of colour on it, the rest of the pages were black and white. There was no signage in the shop to indicate the amount charged for printing. The printing was terrible, the guy helping my husband at the time didn't even give him the option to check the formatting was in order before printing so when the project was printed, the formatting was incorrect and he was charged R180.00 for 16 pages of single sided printing.

When he asked the shop attendant to tell him why he didn't warn him about the price he was like "yeah, its expensive". The attendant was very unhelpful and unfriendly and more interested in what was happening on his cell phone than providing and kind of customer service.

Later the same day we then went to a postnet in Hartbee****rt Dam (we were in the area and decided to take a chance as the project was due for the following day) and we were greeted and assisted by very friendly staff; they directed us to a computer where we could check the project before printing and were charged R61.00 for 8 pages of printing, 3 bottles of water and 10 minutes for computer usage. A huge difference from the R180.00 for 16 pages.

We would like to bring this to the owners attention of the shop on Fern on Republic , I'm not sure they are aware of the ridiculous rates being charged for printing by their staff. They are not in line with industry standards at all and we are going to tell as many people as possible to not support their branch as it's simply ****************.
