Cheated by a PostNet Employee
I recently visited POSTNET Umhlanga Ridge and needed to print out over 40 color pages of an assignment, and this assigned was due in 2 days. I'm a student and have a full-time job, for me every cent counts. I recently bought a laptop to make my schoolwork a bit easier, but Installing Microsoft was a mission and still. After completing my assignment, I then converted my work to PDF, double checked and kept double checking. The guy that was helping me seemed to be a rush and when he viewed my work, he only showed me the first page and that page seemed fine and he asked me if I need my work to be in color, I told him I need cover pages in black and white and the rest in color. He then printed it out. He then moved on to the second file, and with that I insisted we view every page ( by me asking him to do so, it seemed like a lot of work) before he could print out the work I told him not print it out and if he can help me fix it ( his response was they are not allowed and that it takes too much time) I respected that, my issue was is I was charged R182 for pages in color that were not proper and when I asked for help it seemed like I was being irrational, the fact that the company employed individuals who are more knowledge with using computers and navigating the system, he needed to check what needed to be printed out and he choose not to and just ignore the situation. He could see how sad I was! and I kept telling him I do not have money to reprint these. I letter went to the Post net In Pinetown and the lady was very helpful. Looking at the situation I spend money on paper that is now in the trash, I still have the receipts should they want to see prove, A REFUND WOULD BE A NOBLE thing for the company to do.
