BEWARE! POSTNET USES ARAMEX YO DELIVER

On 21 March 2025, I delivered a box and paid R690 for door to door delivery from PostNet Century Village to Morningside, Gauteng.

By Friday, 28 March 2025, I had still not received my package and absolutely no communication about delivery thereof. I decided to track my package via PostNet’s website - only to discover that the courier (Aramex) had allegedly attempted delivery of my package on Wednesday, 26 March 2025 at 01:02 pm but that I was not available to collect it. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE!!!

At no stage during the attempted delivery, did the courier inform me that they were on their way, that they were even at the complex which they would’ve needed to do in order to gain access to the complex or that they were unable to deliver my package. If I didn’t check PostNet’s website, I would never have known what happened to my package. The service and disingenuous conduct displayed by Aramex is grossly unacceptable, wholly inadequate and yet PostNet still uses them to deliver. Judging by other reviews, this seems to be Amarex’s standard modus operandi.
