Bad Service
Bad service from Postnet
I was sent an *overnight parcel* on the 24/10/2019 via Postnet Umhlanga. A service for delivery for overnight was paid. I expected to get it on the 25/10/2019 but no I was advised that I would get it on the the 28/10/2019 which is today. I then called to follow up and advised that the parcel was given to an “agent” and I should call them. When I called the agent, I was advised that they only come to my neighborhood on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. I now have to cancel my trip as I was waiting for this parcel and might get it on Tuesday afternoon.
What is the point of paying for an overnight service if you’re gonna receive it so late??? I’m really disappointed in Postnet and will not be using their services anymore in the future and will definitely advise my customers and clients to do that.
(1) The parcel had to go all the way to EL when there is a Postnet in Mthatha and
(2) I had to go meet the guys in order to get my parcel coz I was running late and no one cared even when I called the agent to request his guys to prioritize me. The guys told me that they will not do it and that they had a schedule to follow. Mind u, they delivering in a neighborhood after my one meaning, they passed mine to go to the one where they were. I had to use my petrol and time to get what’s mine in order not to miss my ride for my journey.
Postnet services are devices that I will never ever use again. I’ve learnt my lesson
