A Warning About Postnet and Parcels

If you are thinking about subscribing for a post-box at Postnet, consider this:

If someone sends you a parcel, they will put it in a plastic bag with your Cell number and the destination Postnet branch name on the outside. Your full Postnet Address, even if supp****, will not be put on the parcel. Only the address of the destination branch. There branch staff do this. Your have no control. Once the parcel arrives at the destination branch, a SMS will be sent to the number on the outside. This they will do every Friday until the parcel is collected.

No notification will be placed in you post-box. If the number is wrong, you will wait forever for your parcel unless you are supp**** with the tracking number by the sender and go looking for it. This could take a long time as there are almost always queues.

If you are unaware that a parcel has been sent and a wrong number has been put on the outside, you will never know there is a parcel for you, and it will just lie there gathering dust.

I am changing my post-box back to the Post Office where a written notification of a parcel received will be placed in your post-box.
